Dear @email@example.com , after the migration to Java8 , the build of auth-portlet-manager: http://eticsbuild2.research-infrastructures.eu/BuildReport/bdownload/AllBuilds/org.gcube.4-5-0/BUILD_2/reports/reportModuleDetail-auth-portlet-manager.html.
The problem should be the incompatibility of the gwt version used (in the auth-portlet-manager) with Java8, as suggested in the following http://stackoverflow.com/questions/33653943/codehaus-mojo-gwt-maven-plugin-project-fails-to-compile:
GWT 2.7 does not support Java 8 source "level". Set maven.compiler.source and maven.compiler.target to 1.7, or possibly the gwt-maven-plugin's sourceLevel to 1.7 (if you're mixing server and client code in the same Maven module –bad idea– and want to use Java 8 on server-side), or use GWT 2.8.0-SNAPSHOT (2.8.0-beta-1 is in smoke-test and should be released in the coming days)
We have two possibility:
- update to the last version of gwt
- force the java version to the 1.7. Here https://wiki.gcube-system.org/gcube/Developing_gCube_Maven_Components#Java_Version , @firstname.lastname@example.org wrote how.
