Description

I upgraded my Smartgears Whn hosted service from 1.2.7 to 2. My http reguests are rejected as

INFO RequestValidator: accessing validator with token axxxxxx4-cxxc-4xxc-bxx4-8xxxxxxxxxx4-9xxxxxx8
WARN RequestValidator: rejecting call to SimulFishGrowthData in invalid context /gcube/devsec/devVRE

This must be a (container.xml)[[https://support.d4science.org/pastes/11]] issue as

  • it was working in 1.2.7
  • if I deploy the service in a portal bundle 4.1 it is working

Please advice

Is your container running on /gcube/devsec/devVRE ? did you add a token in your container.xml for this VRE scope ? if not, you have a generate a token for this VRE an dadd it to the container.xml (cleaning the state before restart).

I added one for the ip+port, as seen in container.xml. How can I add a token for a specific VRE?

#4 Updated by Lucio Lelii about 3 years ago

in the same way you created it for /gcube/devsec, you have to access to the porlet node-token-generator in the VRE you want to add and then generate the token for your node.

I didn't know it was scope-specific. So, I guess I can add more than one, one per scope.
Is there an update on the installation/setup instructions for Smartgears wHN?

yes, you can add all the scope you want in the selected infrastructure.
When th erelease will be ready a I will update the installation instruction for the smartgears node.
