It was planned an activity named ICES training course, Management Strategy Evaluation with due date 9 September. Is this the same course? If not, is the deadline for the Management Strategy Evaluation planned activity still valid?

No, this is not the same course as the MSE course. The MSE course is still planned, for the 17–22 October 2016, in Copenhagen, Denmark

Dear @anna.davies@ices.dk ,
the ICES training course on Design and analysis of statistically sound catch sampling programmes (ICES_DASC) VRE has been setup and is available on the iMarine Gateway.

I already added you and set you as a VRE-Manager for this VRE. Please note that the services enabled for this VRE are the basic ones only (Social and Workspace facilities). I encourage you to ask for any other service of the infrastructure that would be beneficial to this VRE (e.g. Data Miner service, Statistical service etc).

There are few new features that you need to know for managing VRE users and VRE Descriptions:

It is now possible for VRE Managers to create new user accounts (with the usuale fixed password asked to be changed at first login). To do this you should go on the VRE Administration page (https://i-marine.d4science.org/group/ices_dasc/administration) and select the last link (Create and add new users to this VRE).

You can also customise the VRE Description now by clicking on the button below it in the home page - Edit (Manager Only) .

The usage of this new facilities should be intuitive, however if you need clarifications or have questions don't hesitate to contact me.
