Description has uploaded country datasets (and their DSD) in production; These datasets needs to be propagated into the pre-production RDB in order to be used (temporarily) for setting the data dissemination workflow.

Please liaise with and/or for proceeding.

In addition, from Tcom discussion I understand that RDB tool is already proceeding to the data collation/merging from several country collections into a single table which scope is the WECAFC-FIRMS region. Please confirm. is there a particular way to identify these merged resources through the RDB API?

  • % Done changed from 0 to 50
  • Status changed from New to In Progress we moved the production data to the pre-production database. There are three collections (WECAFC Landing task I, February Collection and WECAFC Recreational Fisheries). Each collection represents a Regional Collection meaning that it contains all national level data that currently exist.

In order to retrieve the data for a specific regional collection by using the API, you can call this method (14 is the id of the data collection)

Can you please confirm that everything works as expected in the pre-production environment? Can you login to our database with the read only credentials? Have the shapefiles been imported as expected? Do you have any particular question with the database schema?

If it is ease for you can you confirm that our set up in pre-production is as expected so as to continue and do the same process in production?

Thanks for your prompt feedback.
* DB access is ok
* Shapefiles correctly imported
* Geonetwork and Geoserver and correctly installed

In order to make sure that everything is OK, i would need to test first the JNDI connection to pre-prod through Geoserver, and do a quick publication test. Afterwhat we could set Postgis in production if it's ok for you.

I will test the data you migrated now and let you know

#4 Updated by Emmanuel Blondel about 1 year ago At this stage I confirm that everything is working as expected in pre-production (I've just tested the JNDI), can you please ASAP set-up PostGIS on the production DB, and import the 3 shapefiles (attached in #11287) there?

  • Status changed from In Progress to Closed

I just created a new ticket for that (#11317) and assign it to Kostas. This task is now complete.
